Abigail Hurley is the winner of the 2012 Robert O’Shea Engineering Ethics Award for Ohio American Society of Civil Engineers Student Chapter and Younger Members for her paper .
The Ohio Council of ASCE presents this annual award to the author of the paper on engineering ethics judged to be the best of all papers submitted that meet the criteria for the award. This year there were three submissions for consideration of this award. The award consists of a certificate and check in the amount of $250.00 to be given to the author, and an additional check in the amount of $250.00 to be given to the author’s organization. Ms. Hurley is a member of the University of Akron student chapter.
